Getting Started

Private Pay (Direct Pay):

For families paying out-of-pocket for services, our therapy rates range from $100 to $200 per hour. Evaluations range from $175 for a brief screen (typically used for group services) to $1050 for a full speech or occupational therapy evaluation. We provide estimates and pricing for all services prior to the services being performed.

Insurance:

For families utilizing Kaiser or UC Davis HMO insurance plans, your referral must come from and start with the health care provider. Families utilizing HMO insurance cannot self-refer to our clinic. 

For families seeking PPO insurance reimbursement, we are able to provide “super bills” for your submission to the PPO provider after the bill has been paid upfront.

We are able to bill certain PPO’s as a single-case agreement. Our intake coordinator can discuss this option with you.

It is the responsibility of the client’s parent/caregiver to verify their insurance coverage prior to services beginning. Our intake coordinator will be able to answer your questions regarding insurance, however. Your child’s therapist can prepare and provide requested reports to your PPO provider billed at their hourly rate.

Once your first appointment has been scheduled, you will receive an Intake packet along with the confirmation email for your appointment. Intake forms must be completed and returned 48 hours prior to your first appt.

During your first session, the therapist will review the clinic’s policies with you, and ask some questions about your child’s development. They will also want to discuss your specific concerns regarding your child, answer any questions you may have, and spend time getting to know you and your child.
